ContactStudio Camera Systems
Specification and camera count
We start from your format and set size, then propose the number of cameras, lens choices and support equipment. You receive a written equipment list so the plan can be checked against your budget.
Rigging and line-up
Cameras are rigged, cabled and lined up before the cast arrives. Colour matching, framing marks and talkback checks are done in advance so rehearsal time is spent on the programme.
Operation on the day
Camera operators work to your running order and shot list, with a director of photography supervising the crew. Changes during the day are handled calmly through the gallery.
Derig and handover
After the shoot we derig, log the equipment and pass on any recorded media in the format agreed beforehand, along with notes on anything the edit should know.
How it works
From first enquiry to programme delivered
Every commission follows the same sequence so that nothing technical is left to chance. Steps scale with the job: a single studio day moves through them quickly, while a multi-day event spends longer on planning and rehearsal.
-
Enquiry and brief
You contact us through the contact page with the format, dates, venue and delivery needs. We read it, ask what is unclear and may suggest a short call to understand the programme properly.
What you leave with
A shared understanding of the programme and a list of open questions.
-
Technical plan
Our producer and director of photography outline cameras, lighting, audio and workflow. Where a venue is unfamiliar we ask for a recce or photographs and floor plans before fixing the plan.
What you leave with
A written technical plan with crew roles and equipment list.
-
Written quotation
We price the plan line by line, showing what is included and what would change the cost. Nothing is confirmed until you have the quotation and we have your written agreement.
What you leave with
A written quotation and confirmation of scope.
-
Preparation and rehearsal
Equipment is prepared and tested, crews are briefed and, where the schedule allows, a technical rehearsal is held. Graphics, playout and file naming are agreed with whoever receives the programme.
What you leave with
A call sheet, a tested system and a briefed crew.
-
Production and delivery
The crew runs the shoot or broadcast, then delivers recordings or the live feed as agreed. We invoice afterwards, payable by bank transfer, under the payment and refund policy.
What you leave with
The finished programme or recordings, plus an invoice.
Describe the studio day, live broadcast or event you have in mind through the contact page, and we will reply with questions and, once the scope is clear, a written quotation.
