Privacy Policy

What happens to the data that reaches us through this website, and what you can ask of us.

27 October 2026

On this page actiora explains which information reaches us when you open actiora.net or write to us, what we do with it, how long it stays with us and whom you can ask about it.

Data controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is actiora, 14 Elvet Waterside, Durham DH1 3BN, United Kingdom. You can reach us by email at hello@actiora.net or by phone at 0191 384 2750. The policy covers the pages published under actiora.net and the enquiries we receive through them.

Sharing of data

We do not sell personal data. It is shared only with the providers who host this website and handle our email, acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement, and with authorities where the law obliges us.

If a provider operates servers or support staff abroad, data may leave the country in which we are established. We work only with providers who commit to the level of protection that the applicable law requires for such transfers.

Rights of data subjects

You can ask us at any time which data we store about you, request its correction or deletion, have the processing restricted, object to it or receive a copy in a common electronic format. Consent that you have given may be withdrawn at any time; the withdrawal applies from then on.

A message to hello@actiora.net or a letter to our postal address is enough to use any of these rights. To make sure that information reaches the right person, we may ask you to confirm who you are, and we reply within the period the law sets.

If you believe that we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), in addition to any other remedy.

Purposes and legal grounds

The information described here serves a limited set of purposes: running actiora.net without faults, answering your questions, preparing offers or agreements and meeting the duties that come with running a business.

Depending on the situation, we rely on your consent, on an agreement with you or the steps that come before it, on a duty imposed on us, or on our legitimate interest in a safe and working website. If you leave out the contact details we ask for, we may not be able to reply.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or longer where record-keeping duties apply. After that it is deleted or changed so that it no longer points to a person.

Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are then removed automatically. Correspondence stays with us while the matter is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to the same question.

Cookies

We limit cookies and comparable techniques to what the website needs in order to work. No advertising networks, cross-site tracking or profiling tools are used, and a choice you make in a cookie notice is stored only in your own browser.

Your browser lets you review what is kept for this website, erase it and prevent it from being stored again. If you block entries that the site needs in order to function, some pages may not display correctly.

Data we collect

Each time a page is requested, the server notes the address of the requesting device, the date and time, the page and the browser that asked for it. These entries are needed to deliver the page, to keep the site stable and to trace faults, and they are removed after a short time.

Writing to us by email or through the form means that your contact details and the content of your message reach us. We use them to understand your request and to answer it, and we ask only for what a reply requires.

Updates

This policy is revised when our processing or the applicable rules change. The current text is always available here, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last amended.

Each new version replaces the previous one without a separate notice. Where a change concerns processing that depends on your consent, we obtain fresh consent before it applies.
